1. Lime-flavored ANYTHING
Forget about lemons. Limes are where it’s at, man.
So sour… So good! I was into key lime pie a few weeks back (haha, I know, I shift gears often), however now I’m all about lime candies as well as — OOH! — limeade!

It’s like lemonade however made with limes (obvs). There’s a location in town called Rustic Bakery that makes a excellent limeade that’s nice as well as tart with a great bite to it, as well as sometimes I’ll get one there with lunch.
In fact, I’m drinking one right now.
Well…I was drinking one, however I just completed it! *slurp*

2. Clinique Cheek Pop in Ginger Pop
Current preferred blush right hurr. This pop is a genuine gem. It’s a $22 peachy brown nude in Clinique’s long-term line, as well as it buffs out beautifully on cheeks.
Lasts all day, too.
I assumption I failed to remember about it for a while, however I just recently re-discovered it while “shopping” in a drawer.
3. hourglass Femme Rouge Lipstick in Vintage
Hourglass Femme Rouge Lipstick in Vintage, $30
Another beauty I hadn’t used in a hot minute, however I’m making up for that now!
Doesn’t this pinkish brown have type of a ’90s vibe to it? (I used it in yesterday’s winged liner tutorial). I like exactly how this neutral/nude works with darker skin tones, particularly (if you’re a lighter lass, inspect out hourglass Grace).
4. George Michael’s flexibility ’90 video
Speaking of the ’90s, I checked out a truly fascinating story in the August problem of appeal about this video, which stars a few of the biggest supermodels from the age (apparently, it took a while to get Linda Evangalista on board).
Like, did you understand that it was shot by David Fincher? Yeah, the guy who directed The Social Network, The curious situation of Benjamin Button, fight Club as well as Gone Girl? N-am avut nici o idee!
The article talks about what went on behind the scenes while they were shooting the video, like exactly how in Cindy Crawford’s bathtub scenes, there was no water in the tub, as well as she was propped up on a box so her head would hang just right over the edge.
I like the song, too! keep it on deck if you ever have to leave a sh*tty job.
Yes, I speak from experience.
5. Mossimo yoga Capris
I discovered these Mossimo yoga Capri leggings last weekend at Target, as well as all I have to state is, “Where have these been all my life?!”
They’re soft, comfy as all get-out as well as only $14.99! I bought a gray pair, which I plan to wear during bouts of high-intensity relaxation in my house.
Gonna go back soon for the black!
So, capri pants… For everyday, out-and-about wear, I’m not a huge fan of the method they look on me, however I’m totally okay with them for working out, yoga as well as for lounging around.
Weird, I know. I believe it has something to do with the more fitted look of most workout capris? They make me feel less like I’m…about to leap out of a clown car.

1. This top and base coat combo
I just started using it two weeks ago, but it’s difficult as nails! The base coat is Essie grow stronger ($9), and the top coat is Dior Gel coat ($28, yes, it’s kinda fancy schmancy).
I wore it last week with Smith & Cult Bitter Buddhist. Side note: This is my favorite green polish of all time (even much more than Chanel Jade), and I have a lot of greens. It’s a sensational sea-foamy jade that looks baby blue sometimes. I wear it all the time. Îmi place!

I didn’t have a single chip for seven full days, but then a big chunk came off in the shower on the eighth day. but that’s terrific for me (I’m difficult on my nails). Whenever I can get a full week from a mani/pedi without any chipping, I feel like I ought to throw a parade, LOL.
Even though I actually only want to wear Bitter Buddhist because the obsession is real and ongoing, I’m gonna try this base/top coat combo with different polishes over the next few week to see if other polishes hold up as well.
2. Bread recipes
I’ve been stockpiling them for days because I want to try baking bread this weekend for the very first time.

As of best now, I’ve tentatively chose on this artisan bread recipe from Laura in the Kitchen. It looks easy enough (famous last words)… I think I can deal with it.
Obvs, this has all been brought about by The terrific British baking Show, which I still view every night before bed.
Right before I start making the dough this weekend, I want El Hub to say, “On your mark, get set…BAKE!”
3. hourglass Arch Brow Gel
CE!? This stuff is good! (Here’s the review, BTW). I love filling in my brows with it, and I want to shout it from the rafters. “I love hourglass Arch Brow Gel!!!” In the three weeks I’ve been using it, I haven’t touched the brow pencil/clear brow gel combo I had been using and wearing daily in some form or fashion for three YEARS (most recently it was MAC Brow Sculpt brow pencil and the benefit clear Brow Gel).
It’s that serious. love it for bushy, natural-looking brows, especially.
4. Senita’s new dance-inspired spring collection
I used to be one of those people who believed that workout wear ought to stay in the gym.
Nu mai.
Now that 99% of the outfits I wear on a daily basis 1) include Lycra and 2) can deal with burpies or squats at any given moment (I kneel about 3,647 times a day to pick up Connor because she wants to be carried 24/7. I’m like, “Kid, you’ve got legs! You ought to use them!”), I no longer subscribe to that belief system.
Senita is an indie workout line from Arizona, and their clothes are well made, good deals, and I think they’re CUTE. I have quite a few of their pieces, and I love everything. Their capris are in the $37 range, so that’s compared to lululemons at $89 and Zellas at $49. and they’re just as good as Zella IMO.
Their new collection was inspired by dance and yoga, and I want IT ALL. SO much pink and black. and they have dresses…WITH POCKETS!
5. Foam rolling
My HIIT teacher got me hooked on this, and now I “foam roll” every night (well, I try to!), because it’s like getting a deep-tissue massage before bed. For free. My muscles feel loose and unwinded afterwards, and when I do it consistently, I promise I sleep better, too.
Here are a couple of foam rolling workouts I like to do…
That’s it for me! Those are my five at the moment. tu ce mai faci? Care sunt câteva lucruri pe care le-ați iubit în ultima vreme?

The last one for 2017!
1. wintertime sunrises
They’ve been epic here in NorCal lately. Red, pink, orange and violet-tinged clouds nearly every morning. The other day I ran outside at 6:30 in pajamas, a down coat, wool socks and flip-flops to take this photo because 1) #noshame, and 2) the sky looked like a sci-fi Van Gogh painting.

My world is forever changed.
This one is from Etsy seller JackalopeClothing.
3. The real techniques Contour brush ($8.59 in a four-brush set at Target)
It’s b.o.m.b. for blending under-eye concealer.
I’m normally a “blend with your fingers” gal when it pertains to under-eye concealer because of the whole body heat thing making it a lot more pliable, but I recently found this brush at the bottom of a drawer I was cleaning out (long story, but I lost it a while ago), and now I remember why I was all about it for so long.
Here it is with some bottles of MAC Fix+.
The incredibly soft tapered brush head fabulously feathers out the edges when you use it with under-eye concealer, so it looks like real skin. It’s part of a four-piece set of face brushes for $8.59 at Target ideal now.
4. Homemedics total comfort Ultrasonic Humidifier warm & amazing mist ($79.99)
For years and years I heard that sleeping with (next to, LOL) a humidifier is meant to make it so you catch fewer colds. I poo-poo’d it, but then I got one, and man! — the difference is night and day.
Well…I got sick first, and then I starting using it, but I used it every night when I was sick this week, and my nose and throat didn’t get sore or dry out, and and I coughed way less than usual, so I slept better and got over my cold quicker.
This is the one I have from Costco.
5. Doing core exercises in the morning
I’d been doing them in my HIIT class for a while (but I generally cheated and half-@ssed them), but now I do them for real in the morning.
If you don’t have any core strength (ME), these feel like torture for the first week — I’m talking absolutely dreadful — but now I’m addicted to how good they make me feel. My back feels so much better than it used to and my hips and hamstrings don’t feel as tight. Also, weirdly enough, I’m a lot more flexible, especially when I rotate my spine and turn left and right.
I’ve only been doing them legit for a few weeks, and even my pants fit a little better. It takes me about 10-15 minutes in the morning.
Here’s one of the videos I use. It’s a 10-minute Pilates core workout with a different core step every minute.
It’s BRUTAL, but it’s over quick, and before you know it, you’re drenched in sweat and done for the day.
When I first did this one I couldn’t do half the moves, and I’m still nowhere near being able to do any of them perfectly yet, but it’s a process…
